digicam makes a difference

Thu Sep 27, 2007, 3:47 PM
I lost my old analogue slr-camera and was very sad about this - also because of the photos I lost with it too .. anyway there was a need for a new camera and I bought a finepix S9600 and I'm quite satisfied with it.
As a big plus now - and that's a big reason, that I'm posting again an DA - is that I don't have to scan all my photos. I just correct the image a bit in photoshop - then up and away!
So there will be some updates again :)

see ya

.. is changing fast sometimes ..

Don't know what to tell more for now.

Maybe a saying I remebered from a book and like:

"The truth alone will never free somebody; facts don't change attitudes"

viva Türkiye

Again on travels a bit. I was in Turkey for a study-trip and got some great impressions of this country although it was just a little piece of it.

I was there with a group in Istanbul first and then went with a turkish friend to his family in the area around Kayseri - a city in the middle of Anatolia.

Istanbul is a very lively, fascinating and meanwhile a very modern city (except the bad traffic-concepts) and besides I saw that DA represents quite a lot of amazing artits from there.

In a little village, where foreigners are seen very seldom I was an attraction for the people of course. It was funny but also exhausting - everybody (altough they where very nice and hospitable) wanted to show me around, asking me the same questions all the time ...

next step

After copious impressions of India, I'll change the pace to other directions and places I've been to.

I've done some nice excursions in the last half-a-year and sometimes I fortunately had my camera with me .. :) - soon to be exposed here ..

working on

it's springtime here in the northern hemisphere ...

a lot to work on jobs and relationships - a time to be active again, like it is almost typical for this time, isn't it? ;)

may it come and go but here I will stand :)

Last autumn I was in India with my father for a study-trip about the religions and the differnent culturs in this country. After this we had 4 lectures about it. It was a rare thing to do this in this context. But sadly we just had 3 months for 12000 km of journey. But it gave me a better clue of what life can be too ...

Now after some already placed photos you will get more perspectives of what we saw there.
